“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." — Aristotle
Mary Kihoro holds a bachelor's in counseling psychology with a minor in sociology from Kenyatta University. From a young age, Mary has been passionate about listening to people and had a special place in her heart for those who had become withdrawn from others — what she later learned was a sign of their depression.
Having battled depression and social anxiety herself, Mary ventured into writing as an avenue to provide practical solutions to some of the psychological and social challenges people face. As a believer in manifesting and holistic living, Mary strongly understands the value of working daily toward becoming the best you can be.
Professionally, Mary has been writing for over 10 years, and she’s perfected the art of crafting engaging and well-thought-out pieces on a variety of diverse topics. She believes in the power of words and uses her skills to create fruitful resources for those looking to improve their lives.
Away from work, Mary is a mother of three who finds pleasure in juggling parenting, going to the gym, volunteering at a local well-being club, watching cooking videos, and the list goes on. She considers herself a master of the Pomodoro technique of time management. Join her as she strives to bring positivity to the world, one word at a time.
